They did great work on my grandmothers house! The sun porch had a large leak, and the sliding glass door was a safety hazard because it was too hard to get open. He came in and they fixed it in no time, and now we can enjoy the porch again! We also had an issue with the AC not cooling the house correctly. The house was so hot. They came in and installed heat barriers, moved the ductwork to a better location, and installed attic torpedos. The attic torpedos are a great addition to the house! We can tell a difference already. The house is cooler without the AC on, and the air is fresher, not stale and musty. Thank you so much for the relief! The first contact with the company was very informative on the process of either a replacement, or repair. While most companies will try to get you a new roof, they were honest in their approach and didn'y try to over sell the job. The roof inspection showed while there were issues, a few repairs was all that was required, but the overall age and condition of the roof was good. The estimate was reasonable for the job and completed in one day, no mess left behind.. The only reason I give a 4.5, is that they had to come back a second time to correct an over site, however, there were no additional charges, they were able to match the shingle color and style with probably the last bundles from the warehouse. Most places will give you close enough color on a repair and you can tell where the repairs were done. Looks very nice. They did what they said they would do, honored the labor warranty for the repair for the return trip and materials used. Would definitely send work their way in the future.

My wife is a constant complainer because our home has hot spots and the AC runs way too long (in my opinion) to cool the size of our home. I had AC guys out several times and they said the AC systems are running to specifications and they suggested I provide better ventilation to the attic to lessen the heat absorbed by the ducting system in the attic. Well, that's easier said than done. Why do builders put cold air ducts in the hottest part of the house? It's like putting a frozen turkey in the oven to keep it cold. Stupid. After years of suffering (in addition to the increasing electric rates) we needed a better solution. My friend showed me TheAtticTorepdo.com website and I was impressed with the results my friend had and results others on the website with the attic torpedo system. This is a unique approach to the problem, so we called and spoke with the contractor. I am an engineer (and skeptical) but everything they said I could relate to. My wife, she just wanted this fixed. I agree with him that most homes are designed with the necessary attic ventilation (per code) but I can say every home we have owned has failed to have sufficient attic ventilation and failed to have an AC system that could keep up in the summer months. After they installed the attic torpedo, we were shocked. The very next day our AC ran a lot less hours, the house stays cool now and the thermostat actually cycled like it is supposed to. The digital display on the system now shows me the attic temperature has dropped about 40 degrees. Amazing. We compared our power bills from last summer and we were equally impressed by the savings. As they say "the proof is in the pudding" . Thanks for a real solution! (oh yea, Wife says no more hot spots)
